The term 'selkie' derives from the Scots word for 'seal'.

A selkie is a creature from Scottish and Irish folklore, often depicted as a seal in water but able to shed its skin to become human on land. Legend has it that selkies possess the ability to transform between seal and human form by donning or removing their sealskin. These mythical beings are often associated with tales of love, loss, and the mysterious allure of the sea.

I believe the selkies' ability to traverse between vastly different worlds to be a compelling metaphor for my own work as a psychic medium. Additionally they add a touch of mystery and magic to everyday life.

As someone with Scottish and Irish ancestry, selkie folklore holds a special place in my heritage.

Also, I identify with the adorable, chubby seal aesthetic. ^_~

Decide which type of session you would like. Click on the "Book Now" button corresponding with the session of your choice. Select the time and date that work best for you from the available time slots. Fill out the intake form. Enter your payment details through the PayPal link if applicable. Hit the "Schedule Event" button at the bottom of the page to finish booking your session. You will receive email confirmation after successfully booking your appointment.

No. However, you may encourage them to book a session for themselves, but ultimately it is up to them.

For an animal communication reading, as your animal's guardian, you will be the one to book the session.

Before your session, please download Zoom and make sure you know how to use it. If you don't have this in place, it can seriously delay your session. Make sure your speakers, microphone, and connection are working prior to your session. I cannot reschedule calls with connectivity issues or other technology-related problems, so please check this before your call.

If the call is dropped due to user error, or inadequate internet connection, we will not be able to reschedule your call. ​

Please make sure that you are in a quiet area or somewhere where you are less likely to be disturbed/interrupted. Crowded areas, birthday parties, restaurants, or airports are not the places to make your calls.

I would suggest drinking some water before our call because well-hydrated energy helps me read more clearly. Please refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages or partaking in recreational pharmaceuticals before your appointment. DO take your prescriptions as normal per your doctor's instructions.

Please show up to your call on time! In the event that you do not contact me within 5 minutes of your scheduled start time, I will consider it a no-show. Please honor both of us by being on time. No-shows are non-refundable. All calls are based out of Eastern Time (New York) unless otherwise noted. Please check your appointment times for the correct time zone or daylight savings changes.

It is possible that your call will trigger you at times or bring up old wounds/traumas. I am not a doctor or therapist, so if you feel overwhelmed and want to stop the reading for any reason, please let me know.

Please be aware of the type of call you have booked since Animal Communication readings are different from Medical Intuitive readings. If you booked the wrong type of call, please let me know as soon as possible if there is a problem. All calls are non-refundable.

Unless otherwise approved in advance, please do not invite other people to your call. If you receive a recording of your session, you can share it with friends and family later. My services do not include fortune telling, romance readings, or job/money readings. Don't ask, because I will have to end the call and it will be non-refundable. I do not read other people's energy without their permission, so do not ask me to read for someone other than yourself.

Filing a chargeback goes against this website's Terms of Service, and I will not be able to continue working with you as a client if you do so. You will be permanently banned from all Dancing Selkie Insights, LLC sessions and services. Chargebacks are subject to a $75 administrative fee.
